Uh-oh. That can’t be right. Our latex is pro-grade and backed by Premier League keepers—you should be catching shots, not slipping like Bambi on ice. Let’s get this sorted.

If This Is a New Pair

Before you panic, ask yourself:
Have you removed the protective plastic film? (Only applies to gloves with our “Contact” latex.)
Have you activated the latex with a pre-wash?
Are you washing them after every game? (Glove care is key!)
Are they dampened slightly before/during use?

If you haven’t ticked all these boxes, do them now—you might just bring your gloves to life.

Still no grip after all that? Reach out to our support team, and we’ll help you out.

If This Is an Existing Pair and the Grip Has Faded

Gloves feeling more slippery than a bar of soap? Consider:
Have they been washed after every game?
Are they dampened before/during use?
Has dirt or bacteria built up in the latex over time?
Have they been stored properly—away from UV light and extreme heat?
Have they been left untouched for months (off-season, injury, etc.) without proper storage?

If the answer to any of these is "uhh… maybe not," then the latex may have dried out. Over time, dirt and bacteria seep in, and without proper care, gloves become brittle and struggle to hold moisture. Once activated, latex is perishable—it won’t last forever.

If your gloves have been left for too long without care, it might be time to grab a fresh pair of OGs.

What Sunlight Does to Gloves (Hint: It's Not Good)

Still not convinced? Check out this brand-new pair we had on display in the office—never worn, just sitting by a window. The fingertips dried up and wore away, without even touching a football.

Moral of the story? Treat your gloves right, and they’ll treat you right.
